Your skin is your body’s first level of protection from the outside world. That’s why you need to take care of it more, especially your face. Having a clear skin ‘out of the box’ is easy, we are all born into it. However, as we grow up – our skin tend to be more prone to skin problems like acne. So if you want to get rid of those impurities and get a clear skin super fast at home, then you’ve come to the right place.
The methods that I will list are the things that I do or use and it worked for me. We all have different types of skin so it can work on you too or not. But don’t lose hope, you can ‘experiment’ with our methods and try the best one that works for you.
1. Stay Hydrated
Drinking enough amount of fluids makes sure that your body functions well and it also keeps your skin moisturized making it healthier. If you drink enough water then it helps your body to deliver nutrients effectively to your organs which includes your skin.
It also helps with cleaning or detoxifying your body which will generally make you healthier. Making sure that you’re hydrated also makes your face appear younger and brighter.
2. Avoid Too Many Products
Let’s get this straight. Don’t use too many products. Facial cleansers, moisturizers, toners, masks, you name it. Helps to make your skin clear but do they? Make the things that I listed below be your guide on using facial products. I will list the common skin types and the products that you should only or at least use with it.
- Facial Cleanser
- Facial Scrub
- Moisturizer (less usage)
- Facial Foam
- Moisturizer (more usage)
- Facial Serums
Those are the facial products that I recommend for you to use depending on your skin type.
3. Get Enough Sleep
You should get at least 8 hours of sleep at night or you’re just making your skin care routine useless. It is recommended to only have enough sleep at night. But for me, I recommend to sleep early to get that clear skin fast.
Not just sleeping late makes your face produce more oil but it also makes you weak. If you want to be pumped up every day then you should at least sleep early. Browsing the internet is good but having a clearer skin is better so it’s your choice.
4. Intake Grapeseed Supplements
I’m not really sure about the availability of grapeseed supplements in different countries so please check it for yourself. Grapeseed supplements mostly come in oil capsules. It helps to prevent acne from appearing and reappearing on your face.
If you also want to minimize your pores or fasten the ‘healing’ of your face from acne and scars. Then you can just pop a grapeseed oil supplement and apply it on your face just like a moisturizer. Do it at least twice daily.
5. Avoid Touching Your Face
Your hands are home to many bacteria and touching your face means that you’re transferring those bacteria on it. So if possible, don’t touch your face. If you need to do so, make sure that you wash it first.
I only recommend touching your face if you’re applying moisturizer and stuff on your face. Alternatively, you can do that with a cotton ball or pad to avoid contact. This is a game-changer, once you have stopped touching it – you’ll notice that it won’t get irritated faster and easier.
It’s not an actual allergy but if you think that something you eat triggers an acne, then do your best to avoid eating that food. Observe yourself and exclude the food that makes your face prone to acne.
You may not know that you’re eating something that your body doesn’t want. So if you think that you’re doing everything already but nothing changes. Then maybe the culprit is on your food.
